I haven't updated this in a long time but I figured I'd let you all know I'm still alive.  I've been pretty busy with school, thank God I only have one more week to go.  My exams should go fine.  At worst case scenario, I think I'll end up getting 3 A's and 3 B's -- perhaps a C in Biology but since I never go that doesn't really matter to me.  I'm hoping for the best though.  I'm just going to do whatever I can to make what I want happen.

My German Oral and Written exams are worth 30% of our grade.  I've had a B average on our tests thus far, which equal 30% of our grade, have came to class, so my attendance grade is 100% and my participation and daily work grades should be up there as well.  I feel confident I'll get the B in the course and perhaps squeak out an A if I'm lucky.  Afterall, as long as I get a B both semesters, I'll receive the additional eight credits from the first year courses.

I need an 80.5% on my final Biology exam to get a B in the course.  I think it's possible and I'll be doing all my reading assignments and will be reviewing in hopes that it happens.

Terrorism and Political Science finals shouldn't be hard, I'm not too worried about it.  I have no final in English, my final was a presentation which I received 99/100 on.  University 189 was completed a long tme ago.

I suppose I should go shower for today, head to German and decide whether or not I want to go to Biology.

Oh, PS, I caught a touchdown pass, intercepted one, and had 4 defended passes yesterday at practice.  Go me.

Holyshit,

I have not updated in a very long time.  Let's take a look at what's happened since then:

Broncos are now 4-1 and trumping the AFC West, if Kansas City and San Diego lose today and we beat New England, (which we will) everyone will be so far behind Denver, it'd almost be a lock to win the AFC West.

I'm getting 4 A's and 2 B's and am on pace for the Dean's List at NDSU.

I've gone bowling more times than I can even count and have went to a lot of movies at the theater in our school.  Yeah, do you have one at your school?!

Saw the Shangri-La perform at the Theatre/Arts building, it was awesome.

Went to Mahnomen and lost 70 dollars at the Shooting Star Casino.

Started working at the Electrical Engineering Department.

Whew, I'm going to go eat and update the rest.

Wait, fuck it -- too tired.

Guess what!?  Intramural football starts tomorrow.  Who are we?  The Churchill Knights.  There is no way you're going to stop the Knights.  I have no idea who we play, just know I'm going to give it my all, because I'm pimp like that.  Not sure what position I'm going to play, but I know I'm going to kick some major ass.

Well, that's all I had to say.  Go Knights!

Update to be completed later today, be patient.

Sorry all, I've just been really busy up here in Fargo.  I'll let you know how my first week or so went later on today.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, so I'll update before I head off to class.

Fargo is fantastic and the University is just as great.  I've met a lot of new people have have built a lot of friendships in the past week or so I've been here.  I'm surprised at how well I've adjusted to change and I've had no feelings of being homesick at all.  Where I do wish I could see my family, teachers and friends from high school more often, I'm still not phased because technological advancements have made it more possible for all of us to keep in touch.

My courses rock, being a Political Science graduate isn't as rigorous as I thought it would be, albeit because I've only been here for a little over a week.  I'm doing some interesting assignments, for one -- I'm reading the Iraqi Constitution and plan to write a semester paper on the conflicts that may arise between Fundamenalist Islam and Democracy in the nation.  I was actually asked to be moved up into third-year college German because of prior experience and efficiency in class.  I was moved by my Professors reccomendation because she is infact, a real German.  I declined the invitation as I'm too busy to take on extra work to my already busy course load.  The terrorism class I'm taking is very interesting as well, I can't wait to do my term paper.

My other three courses, (English, Biology and my University 189) course are a complete waste of time.  This upcoming week my English class will be working with a local elementary school in teaching 5th graders how to become better writers.  Oh boy!  I'm totally underwhelmed at the fact I'll have to be meeting with some 10 year old piss-ant's parents and explain to them my philosophy in writing.  I won't even mention the other two classes because they're a waste of time.

It flooded a little after a huge downpour of rain last Wednesday (I believe) -- I walked several miles in water that went up to my knees in some places.  It was fun, some people were even caught Wakeboarding on campus roads.

I'm probably going to be elected Secretary to Hall Government this evening and I'm fighting for position on an intramural football team.  (Hopefully I can play both offense and defense, but whatever they want me to do, I'm up for it.)  I'm also trying to get into better shape by frequenting the Wellness Center on campus.

Went to a Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (baseball) game last night which was a lot of fun.

The possibilities in this town are endless.

I'm more than fine paying a couple thousand more to go to school up here because I'm having more fun than I ever did in high school.

Well, that's it for now -- I'll get back later.

Ten more days before I go off to Fargo, ND.  It's a very, very weird feeling right now.  I'm not nervous because of the move, but because of the fact that the Financial Aid office is being slow in getting back to me.  If I need to take out an additional loan, I'll have to do it within ten days, otherwise I might be in trouble.
